Hi, I’m
Taran Hooey
Aspiring engineer and musician
I’m a mechanical engineering student passionate about solving problems and creating systems that bring ideas to life.
My interests center around engineering, aerospace, community, and music, though I’m most engaged where creativity meets hands-on work. Please explore some of my projects below that reflect my passions.

2 Projects
Three builds combining music and making.
Laser-Cut Ukulele
This was a first look into crafting instruments, and an innovative twist on a well known structure.
Classical Guitar Build From Scratch
A timeless build, based on many years of creation. After all, does music not sound better when you put countless hours into it?
Nursing Home Mini-Concerts
A nice way to give back to the communities that needed it during the Covid pandemic.
